Noni began painting in 2007. Beginning in watercolor, she describes it like falling in love. She took every workshop available until finally enrolling at Alexandria Technical College to study drawing and painting under Myron Sahlberg. There she was taught oil painting and portraiture. She continued in oils and was further mentored by Bonita Roberts of Battle Lake, MN

Ukrainian Eggs, hand knits & various crafts are other creative things Noni likes pursuing. Taking raw materials and making something beautiful by hand is intriguing. Also, the challenge of learning something new can be irresistible!
